In celebration of Rings of Power Season 2 premiere tomorrow, Amazon is giving away free games to all Prime members. Three games are featured in this promotion, all from the video game adaptation of Lord of the Rings.

You can now start claiming LEGO The Lord of the Rings and Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor on Prime Gaming via GOG. Like other free games, this too is a limited time offer only. Middle-earth: Shadow of War is the third game but instead of Prime Gaming, this is via Amazon Luna.

These titles were not included in the initial list of free games announced earlier this month. So it is very pleasant to not just LOTR fans but also Prime members.

How to get LEGO The Lord of the Rings and Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor Game of the Year Edition game keys for free?

LEGO The Lord of the Rings and Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor can now be downloaded for free on Prime Gaming via GOG.

Although the free codes are claimed on Prime, you will still need a GOG account as they are only redeemable on the said platform. So after you click ‘Get Game’ from the Prime website, head on over to the GOG code redemption page and click Continue. The game will then be automatically added to your account.

LEGO The Lord of the Rings free GOG code and Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor free GOG code are both up for grabs until September 30 and must be redeemed until October 28.


How to get Middle-earth: Shadow of War for free?

Middle-earth Shadow of War is available to stream for free with Amazon Luna. So unlike the first two, this is only temporary access rather than a free game key from GOG. You will have until September 26 to enjoy this game for free.

Amazon Luna is a cloud gaming service where you can play video games on various devices without needing a powerful gaming console or computer. The games are run on remote servers and you just send the controller commands and receive the video feed. There are two ways to play games on Luna. You can either get access to a base library of games through a Prime membership or subscribe to Luna+ for a wider selection of titles.

Luna is only available in USA, Canada, Germany, United Kingdom, France, Italy Spain, Austria, Netherlands, and Poland.
